Vicky Pavlidi studied Humanities and Education at the University of Ioannina (BA in Early Years Education). She also studied Psychology at Deree (BA in Psychology, The American College of Greece). She obtained her specialty in Educational Psychology (MSc in Educational Psychology – Professional Training) from the Institute of Education, UCL, University of London, UK. At the same University she completed her second specialty in Early Years Education (MA – Adoption).
In 2021 she completed a third postgraduate master’s diploma in Professional Career Counselor (MA in CAREER COUNSELLING European University in Cyprus). She holds full registration and is a licensed career advisor with the EOPPEP (Greece / Reg. Number: 202).
She worked for two years at the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, UK as an educational psychologist and psychologist at the Adoption Panel of the same Local Authority. She holds full registration and is a licensed educational psychologist within the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC / UK: Reg. Number PYL26700).
She worked at Geitonas Private Mainstream School in Vari, Athens, Greece, for 22 years as a Principal Educational Psychologist and a Career Advising Specialist. She was responsible for the upper secondary students (Lyceum level), coordinator of the Counseling Department of Geitonas School and the director of all Professional Orientation programmes in Secondary Education (Lyceum and IBDP).
She supervises students in undergraduate and postgraduate University Degrees at Greek and foreign English speaking universities. She organizes and conducts parental focus groups since 2007. Furthermore, she participates in Educational Research programs and Career Counselling programs in Greece and abroad.
She liaises with national and international private bodies and companies such as banks, businesses and non-profit organizations (Alpha Bank, REA Maternity Hospital, UNESCO / Cultural Heritage Youth Symposiums, University of Peloponnese) offering counseling programs and various educational services to parents and students.
She is the owner of two Centers for Educational Psychology, “Zer0-19” in Athens, Nea Ionia and “Zer0-19” in Korinth. She undertakes educational and psychoeducational assessments in Greek and in English, psycho-educational interventions for children and adolescents (from 4 to 19 years old) in Greek and in English, parental counseling (both Greek and English), groups of teenagers and parental focus groups as well as parental therapy groups with specialized relevant topics as well as career counselling and psychoeducational seminars for mental health professionals. As part of the Career Advising programs, she undertakes the completion of applications to universities abroad (English-speaking and French-speaking). At the same time, she conducts thorough research and detailed documentation of all University Departments and Academic Institutions (at the BACHELOR, MASTER, or PHD level) related to the interests of prospective students (e.g., university rankings, entry requirements, selection procedures, etc.).
She is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (PYL26700) and the Association of Educational Psychologists (AFI6975) in the UK, as well as a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP: 1070071) and the EOPPEP (Greece – AM: 202). She is a mother of three children.
