Parents are a main point of interest at Zer0-19. In addition to group parent support programs (Parental Focus Groups & Parental Therapy Groups), Zer0-19 offers individual counseling to parents or couple counseling on raising their children. The aim of this approach is to fully guide parents in difficulties they face when they exercise their parental role.
Parental counseling begins with mapping the child or adolescent’s autonomy index. We then continue with identifying the difficulties of communication (trust and boundaries) within the family, and end with practical interventions and recommendations for any parenting issues (such as emotional management, anger, child and adolescent addictions, child and adolescent delinquency, difficulties in everyday life, absence of parental boundaries and control, context at home, non-restricted boundaries and authoritarianism in the exercise of the parental role, etc.). Parent counseling takes place in weekly or fortnightly meetings and deals with solving problems of all ages (from 0 to 19 years).
